Designed at the turn of the century, Midland Railway of England encapsulates the sleek, romantic allure of early-20th-century luxury travel. The graphic artist Edward Penfield, often considered the father of the American poster, utilized his signature bold outlines and rich color palette to evoke the effortless sophistication of fashionable globetrotters embarking on a scenic British rail journey.
Display this graphic vintage travel poster alongside antique train route maps, classic architectural sketches of grand stations, or rich oil landscapes of the English countryside to construct an adventurous, Old World gallery wall.
