Vintage German Handcrafted 1L Salt-Glazed Stoneware Pitcher
Vintage German Handcrafted 1L Salt-Glazed Stoneware Pitcher
Bring authentic European craftsmanship into your home with this Vintage German Handcrafted Salt-Glazed Stoneware Pitcher. Featuring a functional 1-liter (1L) capacity, this traditional piece of German pottery showcases a classic grey salt-glaze finish, beautifully elevated by a vibrant, hand-painted cobalt blue floral folk art motif.
Masterfully crafted using centuries-old regional firing techniques, this piece features the distinctive, textured "orange peel" glaze highly sought after by collectors of antique European stoneware. Traditionally referred to as a Bembel in Germany, these pitchers are historically used to serve cider (Apfelwein), water, or beer. Today, it functions just as beautifully as a rustic farmhouse centerpiece or a decorative floral vase.
