Vintage 1941 Buffalo China US Navy Anchor Saucer Plate
A profound piece of American military history, this Vintage December 1941 Buffalo China US Navy Saucer Plate dates directly to the month and year of the United States' entry into World War II following the attack on Pearl Harbor. Custom-manufactured by Buffalo Pottery in New York, this heavy-duty vitrified ceramic piece was engineered for exclusive use by officers dining in the ship’s wardroom mess.
This military-grade ironstone saucer features the iconic deep navy blue "Fouled Anchor" insignia top-marked crisply near the rim. The reverse side bears the rare, authentic "B-12" manufacturer stamp, identifying the pattern and dating production precisely to late 1941.
