We curate our collections from open-access historical archives around the world. By bringing these public-domain masterpieces out of university vaults and museum storerooms, we strive to give historic fine art a second life on your walls through fine-art giclée printing and custom archival framing.

Our mission lies in sharing masterpieces from forgotten artists - to cultural pieces of history. We value the cultural curation, digital restoration, and hand-finished framing to honor the artist's original work.

Because each print is individually printed and tailored for your space, returns and exchanges are not accepted.

Ensuring each piece arrives safely into your hands remains the highest priority. Should any artwork sustain damage during its journey to your home, please share photos of the piece and its original packaging with info@thecommonplaceshop.com within 48 hours of arrival to receive a complimentary replacement.

Please allow 3-5 business days for your order to process with our printers, and an additional 5-7 days for shipping.
